Our colleague, Dr. Mary Frances Ypma-Wong, put together a great spreadsheet of the eTextbooks provided to the first and second year students at UCIrvine:

The main differences in the eTextbook offerings in this second year of the iPad program was that many of the titles moved from a subscription basis (ex. one year) to a perpetual license so that students could be sure they had access to the materials beyond the year the textbook was used in a course. Also, some of the textbooks are accessed online through the UCI Medical Library (ex. AccessMedicine as Martin had mentioned) so that costs were not duplicated and there were were a few more titles available via Inkling and highlighting and annotating features from Vitalsource demonstrating the greater maturity of the eTextbook market from a year ago.
